INOshaft^® CFRP shafts

CFRP printing cylinders and shafts that are suitable for machines from all manufacturers and of all types.

We pride ourselves on high performance from the offset. Only once the basis for all printing unit components works in an optimised manner, with no disruptive vibrations or performance-limiting effects acting on the entire system, can all other printing unit components offer a high level of performance. The entire system is only as good as its first system component – the shaft. This is exactly the reason why we strike for the highest level of quality at the first level in the printing unit.

INOshaft^® CP – Ecoline

INOshaft^® CFRP shafts form the basis for excellent print quality in digital printing. Using modern lightweight materials enables the specific printing speed to be increased, while vibrations in the printing unit are considerably decreased. This results in fewer printing errors, less bouncing and therefore a longer service life than comparable components made of steel. Our INOshaft^® CP Ecoline marks the beginning of a CFRP shaft series, which is setting new standards when it comes to performance, safety, quality and economic efficiency. The Ecoline shaft is optimally designed for printing speeds of up to 400 m/min.

INOshaft^® CP – Proline

Our INOshaft^® CP Proline is available as an entry-level line into the high-end performance range. A CFRP shaft, which we have designed for average printing speeds of between 400 - 600 m/min. The processing of high-quality materials and a CFRP laminate designed with high requirements in mind create the perfect basis for first-class results in digital printing. Features of the Proline version include reaching a high printing speed in no time at all with reduced risk of printing errors and bouncing. The pneumatic shaft is also optionally available in a hybrid design, as a pneumatically and hydraulically clamping version. This enables the additional versatility of hydraulic adapters for particularly tricky print jobs.

INOshaft^® CP – ProXline

INOshaft^® CP ProXline – CFRP shafts set the performance benchmark in our shaft range and are designed for peak performance processes up to 800 m/min and higher. Perfectly aligned with each working width and all formats, individually designed CFRP laminates and high-quality materials form the basis for the highest requirements. The maximum from the combination of product rigidity and damping reduces vibrations in the printing unit, while preventing bouncing and faulty print images. INOshaft^® CP ProXline shafts are the ideal solution for the highest level of process requirements and ensure that the machine’s performance is fully utilised. The pneumatic shaft is also optionally available in a hybrid design, as a pneumatically and hydraulically clamping version. This enables the additional versatility of hydraulic adapters for particularly tricky print jobs.

We use CFRP for the development and production of our INOshaft® CFRP shafts. The advantages of this material as a basis for the construction of innovative components in digital printing are demonstrated very well with shafts and air cylinders. An optimised CFRP laminate structure ensures minimal total deformation in the printing unit. In direct comparison to steel products, our CFRP shafts feature significantly improved damping properties and reduced vibrations directly in the printing unit.
